Classic Winter

Classic Winter

The cold days were really long in the last few weeks. Everyday I have to wear many layers of clothes to keep myself warm, especially a warm scarf - the inevitable item in my everyday outfit. However, in this winter, instead of scarf, another item I love the most is the turtleneck knit sweater. When I am wearing a turtleneck top, I tuck my hair into the top so I would look like having a short hair, and it is super warm also! Have you tried this trick before so as to keep yourself warm?

I'm so sorry that I've missed two weekly outfit post in this month because I was busy with other projects and stuff. But please stay tuned, something new will be coming really soon! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you guys have an amazing day. :)

Summertime in Wintertime

Summertime in Wintertime

When I was small, every Christmas and Chinese New Year were really cold. When we had to go visit our relatives(拜年), we always had to wear many layers of clothes in order to keep warm. And there was a year, that CNY was very warm, we can even wear short sleeves to go out... It just doesn't seem like any CNY I had, it's lacking festive mood under such a warm weather. And it's happening again this year! So, here it is a summer outfit in this wintertime. Here I styled a striped top with a plaid skirt. Two different prints, but still works together. The plaid skirt mixed two similar tone color of blue and green, which tuned the contrast down. Meanwhile the striped top is a mix of a greater contrast of black and white, also the prints is comparatively larger to the skirt, so we could get a balance between two items.
Last but not least, I wish you all have great fun in this festival with your beloved family and people. Happy Chinese New Year and wish you have a prosperous year ahead.   : )
